Well, this is all kinds of cool. Yes, as the headline suggests, Mark Hamill is set to appear in What We Do in the Shadows.

As announced by creator Jemaine Clement during a recent TCA panel – courtesy of Variety – it was revealed that the genre icon will be a guest star in the second season of FX’s What We Do in the Shadows TV series. There’s no word just yet on what role the ever-charming Hamill will have in the show’s second year, but news of his involvement is sure to put a smile on the chops of many.

In addition to this, Clement also revealed that Booksmart’s Beanie Feldstein is unable to return for What We Do in the Shadows’ second year due to prior commitments.

During this panel, Jemaine explained how the current plan for Season 2 is to steer clear of what audiences have previously seen in the What We Do in the Shadows movie – and that supernatural beings such as ghosts and witches will become a part of the series.

The current plan is for What We Do in the Shadows’ second season to premiere at some point towards the end of 2020.
