Eureka! Entertainment have announced the release of one of Hammer Film’s most overlooked crowning glories. The Man Who Could Cheat Death, made in 1959, hits Dual Format Blu-ray/DVD on September 21st.

Starring Anton Diffring as a doctor who has found he can remain forever young by replacing his parathyroid glands every ten years – only he needs to murder young women to obtain them for his steaming potion! Directed by Hammer legend Terence Fisher and featuring the late Christopher Lee and Hazel Court, the film has all the glorious, colourful and lavish elements one looks for in a Hammer Horror film.

The Eureka! release includes a restored full HD presentation of the film on Blu-ray, interviews with scholar and Hammer expert Jonathan Rigby and critic/author Kim Newman and a limited edition collector’s booklet.

The Dual Format Blu-ray/DVD is available to pre-order now and is released on September 21st.
