While a bunch of Marvel and Disney+ series have had their releases delayed amid the strikes, Loki season 2 is still set to premiere on the platform on October 6th. Ahead of its release, a new trailer has been dropped that sees Tom Hiddleston’s god of mischief trying to get his bearings as he’s pulled through time. Sophia Di Martino’s Sylvie and Jonathan Majors as He Who Remains both make an appearance.

Per the synopsis, Loki season 2 picks up in the aftermath of the shocking season finale when Loki finds himself in a battle for the soul of the Time Variance Authority. Along with Mobius (Owen Wilson), Hunter B-15 (Wunmi Mosaku), and a team of new and returning characters, Loki navigates an ever-expanding and increasingly dangerous Multiverse in search of Sylvie (Sophia Di Martino), Judge Renslayer (Gugu Mbatha-Raw), Miss Minutes (Tara Strong), and the truth of what it means to possess free will and glorious purpose.

Eric Martin writes this six-episode season of Loki, alongside Justin Benson, Aaron Moorhead and Dan Deleeuw and Kasra Farahani. The show also stars Eugene Cordero, Rafael Casal, Kate Dickie, Liz Carr, Neil Ellice, and series newcomer Ke Huy Quan.
