With a new Power Rangers movie set to arrive next year, it’s been revealed that there could be a whopping six further movies to follow Dean Israelite’s redo.

Speaking during an investor conference call, Lionsgate’s Jon Feltheimer said, “We are really excited about the Power Rangers movie. We could see doing five or six or seven.”

Whether this was just over-eagerness and optimism from Feltheimer or whether Lionsgate really is thinking well, well ahead for the franchise, we’ll have to wait and see.

On board for the Power Rangers relaunch are Dacre Montgomery as Jason/Red Ranger, RJ Cyler as Billy/Blue Ranger, Naomi Scott as Kimberly/Pink Ranger, Becky G as Trini/Yellow Ranger, Ludi Lin as Zack/Black Ranger, and Elizabeth Banks as the villainous Rita Repulsa.

At present, the current plan is for Israelite’s Power Rangers to hit the big screen on March 24th, 2017.
