In some news that’s sure to please many fans of Deadpool, it appears that Leslie Uggams will be back as Blind Al for the upcoming Deadpool 2.

When the Emmy-nommed actress was asked about her return during a recent HBO event, BlackFilm reports her as saying she’ll “definitely” be back alongside Ryan Reynolds’ Merc with a Mouth. As Blind Al, Uggams played the roommate of Wade Wilson.

At present, Deadpool 2 will feature Reynolds as the titular hero, Josh Brolin as metal armed, time-travelling son of Cyclops, Cable, and Zazie Beets as probability-manipulating badass merc Domino.

With John Wick’s David Leitch directing, Deadpool 2 will be released at a to-be-confirmed date next year.
