With DC’s Legends of Tomorrow confirmed for a second season later this year, it’s now been revealed just what nefarious threat Rip Hunter’s team will have to face in Season 2.

The CW used this past weekend’s San Diego Comic-Con to confirm that Hunter’s Legends will be squaring off against a take on the classic Legion of Doom stable of villains. This version of the villainous team will be made up of four familiar faces: Neal McDonough’s Damien Darhk, Matt Letscher’s Reverse-Flash, John Barrowman’s Malcolm Merlyn, and Wentworth Miller’s Captain Cold.

On this news, executive producer Marc Guggenheim said, “For Season 2 of Legends, we decided that the perfect antagonist for TV’s first ever team of superheroes would be TV’s first ever team of supervillains, recruited from the ranks of Arrow and The Flash’s deadliest adversaries. Being huge fans of the Challenge of the Superfriends, we’ve come to call this group our Legion of Doom.”

In addition to this reveal, there’s also word that the show will be getting new additions in the form of Stargirl, Obsidian and Dr. Mid-Nite. None of these roles have been cast as of yet. These newbies will join fellow newcomer Patrick J. Adams, who debuted during the final moments of Season 1 as Rex Tyler, aka the Justice Society of America’s Hourman, and the already-announced additions of Nick Zano as Nathan Heywood/Commander Steel and Maisie Richardson-Sellers as Amaya Jiwe/Vixen.

DC’s Legends of Tomorrow will debut its second season on October 13th, with the below trailer giving us an idea of what to expect:
