As Transformers: The Last Knight starts to put its cast together, the fifth of Michael Bay’s Transformers movies has brought Laura Haddock into its ranks.

Haddock is likely best known for her roles in Da Vinci’s Demons, for a small part in Captain America: The First Avenger and for playing Peter Quill’s mother during the heartbreaking opening moments of Guardians of the Galaxy.

The actress joins a cast that includes the returning Mark Wahlberg and Josh Duhamel, and new additions in the form of Sir Anthony Hopkins, Isabela Moner and Jerrod Carmichael. As for the Robots-in-Disguise themselves, already confirmed for the film are Optimus Prime, Bumblebee, Barricade and the nefarious Decepticons.

Transformers: The Last Knight is currently shooting in Detroit, with a release set for June 23rd, 2017. Following that, it’s already been announced that they’ll be a Bumblebee solo movie for June 8th, 2018 and then a sixth main Transformers effort penciled in for June 28th, 2019.
