KYN, the Viking-inspired action RPG, will be released on July 28th, it was announced today. The newly released trailer shows some of the game’s key features; high speed RPG action and a clever and challenging storyline, as well as plenty of tactical options.

KYN allows players to up to six different warriors in their party. Each hero can be equipped with appropriate skills and abilities, which can be modified according to your play style. As this an RPG, expect the usual sort of loot hunting and monster bashing. The game features a clever strategic combat system also allowing a more tactical and strategic style of play.

Pre-ordering the game will give players access to the ‘Legendary Fire Master Set’, a lovely looking collection of fire themed armour and the Eye of the Fire Axe. The game has been developed by Netherlands based studio Tangrin and leading indie game publisher Versus Evil.
