Superhero TV shows: you wait for one and a shedload come along at once. Whilst ARROW, THE FLASH, GOTHAM, CONSTANTINE, AGENTS OF S.H.I.E.L.D., SUPERGIRL, TITANS and LUTHOR, not to mention the rumoured X-Men series and the confirmed Netflix-exclusive solo shows for Daredevil, Luke Cage, Jessica Jones, and Iron Fist, are all on screens or in development, now comes word on yet another television adaptation.

Bleeding Cool, who also happened to break the news on SUPERGIRL and that X-show, is reporting that another DC-based series is being planned; one simply titled KRYPTON. With MAN OF STEEL’s David Goyer said to be attached to pen the series, no actual plot details are known at this stage. Early indicators suggest that the show will focus on the planet of Krypton before its destruction, with the positive response to MAN OF STEEL’s Krypton-based scenes said to be a key reason for the show happening.

Expect to hear more on this as it develops.
