Hmmm. Read into this what you will, but Game of Thrones’ Kit Harrington has seemingly moved to clarify his role in the show’s upcoming sixth season.

Harrington’s Jon Snow was last seen killed at the hands of his own men at the conclusion of Season 5, although there’s plenty of reasons why fans believe that Snow will be back amongst the living when the new season rolls around. Apparently not, though, according to the actor, who told TimeOut, “Look, I’m not in the show anymore. I’m definitely not in the new series. I filmed some scenes of me being dead – it’s some of my best work. I don’t have a clue. I know how long I’m a corpse for, but I can’t tell you that.”

We’ve previously seen pictures of Harrington on the set of the new season, and he’s also been seen decked out in Ned Stark’s clothes. Maybe the actor is right and we’ll only see the dead body of Jon Snow for Season 6. Maybe the character is never coming back. Maybe he’ll be resurrected in some way during Season 6 or in a future season. Maybe… maybe… you get the picture.

On this matter, we’ll all just have to wait and see how things pan out when Game of Thrones returns to the small screen on April 24th.
