Captain Feige, the head honcho at Marvel Studios is carefully wielding his sorcery across the planning of new cinematic ventures for the company, who are currently redefining the industry and its expectations as you read this. An exciting prospect is that (according to the man himself) you may find yourself wandering down to your local movie theatre one day, and buying a ticket for a new film that will bring together the heroes from Guardians of the Galaxy and The Avengers. Just let that thought process in your mind for a second or 20…

Kevin Feige is a man with limitless opportunities fizzing around his brain and this is no doubt down to the freedom created by the comic books. Speaking to IGN, the Marvel president discusses “Any character could interact with any other because they inhabit the same time period and universe. And certainly it is the inclusion of Thanos most specifically that is a declaration to audiences who are paying attention that this is connected to those other universes. Part of the fun is that it could happen someday. I don’t know when that would be, or maybe I do and i’m not going to tell you!”. Straight from the horses mouth then, we can establish that the Josh Brolin-voiced antagonist is an important thread that will keep opportunities such as this alive for the fans and although he’s confirmed absolutely nothing, this hint is enough for the time being.
