With production on the Jurassic World sequel due to start next month, the follow-up to Colin Trevorrow’s 2015 juggernaut has brought in another cast member.

The Hollywood Reporter has word that James Cromwell has joined the film in an unknown role. Cromwell, of course, is best known for the likes of L.A. Confidential, Babe, I, Robot, The Young Pope and American Horror Story.

The talented actor joins a cast that currently includes Chris Pratt, Bryce Dallas Howard, Toby Jones, Rafe Spall, Daniella Pineda, Justice Smith, and Ted Levine.

Trevorrow isn’t back to direct this time around, for he’s busy with a little movie by the name of Star Wars: Episode IX. He has, however, penned the sequel’s screenplay with Derek Connolly. Stepping into the director’s chair is The Impossible, The Orphanage and A Monster Calls’ Juan Antonio Bayona.

At present, this second of a Jurassic World trilogy is set for a June 22nd, 2018 release.
