It’s being reported that Oscar winner Julianne Moore is being lined up for the main villain role in the upcoming Kingsman 2.

Heat Vision has the scoop, claiming that the Hunger Games actress is currently circling the bad guy gig for the sequel to Matthew Vaughn’s stunning 2014 effort. No major details are known on the follow-up at this stage, bar the fact that Taron Egerton’s Eggsy is likely to be heading the USA to deal with their arm of the Secret Service.

Kingsman: The Secret Service proved to be one of the very best movies of last year, and here’s hoping that the sequel can again hit those heady heights. Vaughn will be returning to direct Kingsman 2, the first time he’s actually helmed a sequel, and he’s already been putting the screenplay in place with Jane Goldman.

At present, Kingsman 2 is currently set for a June 16th, 2017 release.
