Sci-Fi Scarborough 2017 has announced their latest guest – screen legend Julian Glover.

A familiar face for decades, Julian has appeared in many massive franchises, including Star Wars, in which he was General Veers in The Empire Strikes Back, James Bond as villain Aristotle Kristatos in For Your Eyes Only, Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade (Walter Donvan), Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets (voice of the giant spider Aragog), and Game of Thrones (Grand Maester Pycelle). He also appeared in Hammer’s Quatermas and the Pit, Doctor Who, Blake’s 7, The Avengers and much more.

Co-organiser Steve Dickinson said of the booking, “Mr Glover continues to work in TV, film & theatre to this day and has a glittering career spanning seven decades, we can truly use the term ‘legend’ when announcing a guest of his esteemed nature. We are ecstatic that he is joining us for SFS, a guest of this magnitude is amazing news the event“

Julian will be appearing on Sunday April 9th as part of the fantastic Star Wars line-up.

Other confirmed guests are Andrew Lee Potts, Sylvester McCoy, Sophie Aldred, Gareth David-Lloyd, Garrick Hagon, Tim Rose and Jon Campling.

Day tickets are £15 (under 12s £5 Students £10) Weekend £25, and under 5’s go free.
