Following on from yesterday’s reveal that Transformers 5 is officially titled Transformers: The Last Knight, Paramount has confirmed that Josh Duhamel will be returning for this next Robots in Disguise entry.

Duhamel appeared as Lieutenant Colonel Lennox in the first three franchise outings, but he sat out Transformers: Age of Extinction. The actor joins a cast that currently includes the returning Mark Wahlberg and new faces in the form of Isabela Moner and Jerrod Carmichael.

Production on this fifth Transformers movie is due to start next month in Detroit ahead of a June 2017 release. Michael Bay is once again back to direct.

Additionally, The Last Knight will not be the last movie in the series, for there’s already a Bumblebee spin-off set for 2018 and another main franchise entry set for 2019.
