British actor Jon Campling is set to make his way back to Sci-Fi Scarborough 2016, following his successful appearance earlier this year.

Best known as the chief Death Eater in Harry Potter and Deathly Hallows Part 1, Jon has also appeared in the sci-fi web series Kosmos, features The Zombie Kind, Narcopolis, and Curse of the Witching Tree and short films Predator Dark Ages, Bloody Cuts’ Dead Man’s Lake, and the brilliant feminist vegan horror The Herd.

Steve Dickinson, co-organiser of the event, “Sci-Fi Scarborough 2015 was Jon’s first ever Convention and was such a great hit with the fans and attendees that we got so many emails requesting that he return. The fact that he stars in Predator Dark Ages (which is part of our Fan Film Theatre programme) and will be able to introduce the project and talk about it is great. Obviously, with his involvement in Harry Potter and all his other roles, it makes it a double bonus for us. Plus, he’s a Yorkshire lad and that always helps!

Jon Campling joins an already strong line-up that includes Babylon 5’s Patricia Tallman, Star Trek: Voyager’s Garrett Wang, Red Dwarf’s Norman Lovett, and Doctor Who’s Strax, Dan Starkey. The event takes place at Scarborough Spa Complex on April 9th/10th 2016.
