Having scored a massive festival hit with her debut short, CALL GIRL, Jill Sixx Gevargizian has launched a new Kickstarter campaign for her follow-up, THE STYLIST.

The film is a horror story about a passionate hairstylist named Claire. When Claire’s final client of the evening arrives with the request to look perfect, she is more than happy to oblige…with her signature style. Jill herself has been a hair stylist for ten years, so she’s obviously putting a lot of credence into this role!

Najarra Townsend (CONTRACTED) has been cast as Claire, the stylist of the title and Jill aims to raise $5000 to fund the project.

There’s plenty of great perks on offer, included onscreen credits, signed scripts, and even a chance to have your hair cut by the lovely Jill herself (naturally you’ll need to get over to Kansas for this one).

CALL GIRL, which stars Laurence R. Harvey (THE HUMAN CENTIPEDE 2) and Tristan Risk (AMERICAN MARY) was screened over the summer in the UK and both FrightFest and at a STARBURST event at Manchester’s FAB CAFÉ, where both Jill and Laurence were in attendance. Jill also directed the short ‘sting’ after credits in the upcoming ABCS OF DEATH 2, and is clearly a filmmaker going places.
