In one of the more left field news stories of recent weeks, it’s been revealed that a spin-off to The Big Lebowski is currently shooting right now.

This is the first that anyone has heard of this new film, with Birth.Movies.Death. breaking the news. The film will star John Turturro and Bobby Cannavale. Titled Going Places, the film also serves as a remake of French sex comedy Les Valseuses. Plot-wise, the outlet claims that the movie will focus of Turturro’s Jesus and Cannavale’s Petey as a pair of petty thieves competing to give a woman her first orgasm. Said woman will be played by Audrey Tautou, who finds herself caught up in some illegal hijinks with the duo, whilst Susan Sarandon is also a part of the film as a criminal who recently got done with a lengthy prison stretch. Turturro famously played Jesus Quintana in the Coen Brothers’ iconic The Big Lebowski back in 1998. He may have a mightily messed-up past as a sex offender, but that creep can roll, man. And when all is said and done, nobody fucks with the Jesus.

As for who’s directing or has penned the film, details remain sketchy on that front right now. It appears the neither Joel or Ethan Coen are involved, though. What we do know, however, is that Going Places is seemingly already in production and could well be already shooting.

Expect more on this as we get it.

Oh, and we couldn’t really not revisit Jesus’ famed introduction in what many consider to be the Coens’ finest work:
