Made up your mind on Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice yet? Well whilst Zack Snyder’s movie certainly divided opinion amongst fans and critics alike, it was pretty universal that most of the standout elements of the film lay at the door of Ben Affleck’s Caped Crusader. As such, it’s great to hear that Jeremy Irons’ Alfred, Bruce’s faithful butler, will be back for the first of Snyder’s Justice League movies.

Affleck’s Bruce Wayne was undoubtedly the best part of Batman v Superman, but Irons’ Alfred Pennyworth and Gal Gadot’s Diana Prince threatened to steal the film at various points. Whilst we fully expected Alfred to be a part of the Affleck-directed untitled solo Batman movie, it’s a nice surprise to see that he’ll also be present in Justice League: Part One. Irons himself confirmed the news in an interview with Showbiz 411.

Already confirmed for Snyder’s two-part Justice League adventure are Ben Affleck’s Batman, Henry Cavill’s Superman, Gal Gadot’s Wonder Woman, Jason Momoa’s Aquaman, Ezra Miller’s The Flash, Ray Fisher’s Cyborg, Amber Heard’s Mera, J.K. Simmons’ Willem Dafoe, and Willem Dafoe in a mystery role.

Currently shooting, Justice League: Part One is set for a November 10th, 2017 release.
