With X-MEN: APOCALYPSE on the horizon for next year, actress Jennifer Lawrence has revealed that this next X-adventure will be her last.

When asked by MTV if this would indeed be her last X-appearance, the Mystique actress simply said, “It is my last one, actually, yes.”

To the point, at least.

Lawrence has played Mystique in X-MEN: FIRST CLASS and last year’s X-MEN: DAYS OF FUTURE PAST, and she’s one of the most in-demand names in Hollywood right now.

Also returning along with Lawrence for APOCALYPSE are James McAvoy as Charles Xavier, Michael Fassbender as Magneto, Nicholas Hoult as Hank McCoy, Evan Peters as Quicksilver, Rose Byrne as Moira MacTaggert, and presumably Hugh Jackman as Wolverine. In terms of new additions, the film has cast Oscar Isaac as the titular Apocalypse, Sophie Turner as the young Jean Grey, Tye Sheridan as the young Cyclops, Alexandra Shipp as the young Storm, Kodi Smit-McPhee as the young version of Nightcrawler, and an unknown role for Ben Hardy.

To be directed by Bryan Singer, X-MEN: APOCALYPSE is currently set for a May 27th, 2016 release.
