In some rather awesome news, FX’s upcoming Legion has brought in Jemaine Clement.

Deadline is reporting that the Flights of the Conchords, Eagle vs. Shark, Men in Black 3 and What We Do in the Shadows star is to appear in a multi-episode arc in the mutant-driven series. No details are known just yet on what role Clement will be playing, though.

Legion is an upcoming show that centres on Dan Steven’s David Haller, the son of none other than Professor Charles Xavier. Having been diagnosed as schizophrenic from an early age, a stint in a psychiatric hospital sees David realise that maybe the voices that he’s heard in his head for years are more real than he thought.

Rachel Keller, Aubrey Plaza and Jean Smart are also on board for the show, whilst Fargo’s Noah Hawley is acting as executive producer and showrunner.

Legion is currently shooting in Vancouver ahead of debuting on FX at a TBC 2017 date.
