While A Quiet Place: Part II has yet to officially rear its head, now comes word that a third entry in the series is in development.

Via Deadline, Loving helmer Jeff Nichols is to write and direct a third Quiet Place offering. It’s not yet known whether this will be an outright A Quiet Place: Part III or whether this will be a world-expanding movie set within the same realm its two predecessors.

After John Krasinski’s A Quiet Place won a whole host of praise and plaudits upon its release in 2018, it was soon announced that a sequel was on the way. Unfortunately, A Quiet Place: Part II is one of the many movies that have seen their release delayed here in 2020.

Having been originally planned to be released this past summer, A Quiet Place: Part II is currently now set for an April 23, 2021 bow. Emily Blunt, Millicent Simmons and Noah Jupe will all be returning in this follow-up – and they’ll be joined by Cillian Murphy and Djimon Hounsou.

As ever, expect more on this third Quiet Place picture as we get it.
