Universal and Legendary’s Kong: Skull Island has added Jason Mitchell to its ranks.

Variety is reporting the news, with the actor fresh off of playing Easy-E in Universal’s Straight Outta Compton and the studio eager to work with him once more. He joins Straight Outta Compton cohort Corey Hawkins on the film. Mitchell’s role is believed to be that of a pilot.

Also on board to take a trip to Skull Island are Tom Hiddleston, Toby Kebbell, Samuel L. Jackson, John C. Reilly, Tom Wilkinson and Brie Larson.

No plot details are exactly known at this stage, although the film will look at Kong’s titular island home and the beasts that inhabit it.

To be directed by Jordan Vogt-Roberts, Kong: Skull Island is currently set for a March 10th, 2017 release.
