Fresh off being announced to be directing How We Sleep at Night: The Sara Cunningham Story for Lifetime, now comes news of another directing project for Jamie Lee Curtis.

Via Deadline, Curtis and her Comet Pictures banner have signed a three-year first-look film and TV deal with Blumhouse. As part of this agreement, Curtis will direct a genre project titled Mother Nature.

Plot specifics have yet to be fully revealed for Mother Nature at this early stage, although the movie will centre on climate change. Curtis is co-writing the script with Comet’s Russell Goldman.

Expect more on Mother Nature as we get it.
