In some interesting news, it’s being reported by The Hollywood Reporter that James Wan is in talks to directed AQUAMAN.

Wan’s FURIOUS 7 is currently in cinemas and doing impressive figures (currently set to cross the $500 million mark globally), and the director has obviously got a horror-filled past for the likes of SAW and THE CONJURING. Having said he was done with horror, Wan made a U-turn and is currently shooting THE CONJURING 2. How the director would handle a large superhero project, we’d have to wait and see. We’ve got a lot of faith, though.

AQUAMAN will give Jason Momoa’s King of Atlantis a solo outing and is currently set for a July 27th, 2018 release, with Aquaman himself debuting in next year’s BATMAN V SUPERMAN: DAWN OF JUSTICE.
