With Indiana Jones 5 now confirmed to be happening, the film has brought in a screenwriter.

The Hollywood Reporter has word that David Koepp will be penning Dr. Henry Walton Indiana Jones’ return to the big screen. Koepp is the man responsible for putting together the final script for Indy’s last outing, Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull, as well as having worked on the screenplays for the likes of Jurassic Park and Spider-Man. Harrison Ford will be returning to star in this new film, with Steven Spielberg confirmed to be directing.

Ford’s Dr. Jones debuted way back in 1981’s Raiders of the Last Ark, going on to become one of the most iconic characters in cinema history as further adventures followed in 1984’s Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom, 1989’s Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade, and 2008’s Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull.
