For many genre fans, one of the most hotly anticipated projects out there right now is the long-gestating Dark Crystal TV series, Age of Resistance. And now, we have a huge update on the show’s cast.

In an official press release from Netflix, it’s been revealed that the voice cast for the series will be headed up by Kingsman’s Taron Egerton, Glass’ Anya Taylor-Joy and Game of Thrones’s Nathalie Emmanuel as three Gelfling heroes called Rian, Brea and Deet. Making up quite the impressive ensemble cast are the likes of Helena Bonham-Carter, Natalie Dormer, Toby Jones, Mark Strong, Gugu Mbatha-Raw, Eddie Izzard, Jason Isaacs, Simon Pegg, Andy Samberg, Keegan-Michael Key, and Mark flippin’ Hamill.

Based on The Dark Crystal, Jim Henson’s groundbreaking 1982 feature film, The Dark Crystal: Age of Resistance tells a new epic story, set many years before the events of the movie, and realized using classic puppetry with cutting edge visual effects. The world of Thra is dying. The Crystal of Truth is at the heart of Thra, a source of untold power. But it is damaged, corrupted by the evil Skeksis, and a sickness spreads across the land.
