With the news this week that the new Friday the 13th movie has been completely scrapped and that the World War Z sequel has been totally removed from Paramount’s release schedule, now comes the news that a film is actually being brought forward. Crazy, we know!

Sony Pictures Animation has revealed that Hotel Transylvania 3 has been brought forward for a July 13th, 2018 release, rather than the threequel’s initial release date of September 21st, 2018.

The official blurb on Genndy Tartakovsky’s Hotel Transylvania 3 reads:

Mavis surprises Dracula with a family voyage on a luxury Monster Cruise Ship so he can take a vacation from providing everyone else’s vacation at the hotel. The rest of Drac’s Pack cannot resist going along and once they leave port, romance zings Drac when he meets the mysterious ship captain Ericka. Now it’s Mavis’ turn to play the overprotective parent, keeping her dad and Ericka apart. Little do they know that this “too good to be true” love interest is actually a descendant of Van Helsing, arch nemesis to Dracula and all monsters!

Adam Sandler is again back to voice Dracula, and he’s joined by Selena Gomez as Mavis, Andy Samberg as Johnny, not to mention the expected returns of Kevin James, Steve Buscemi, David Spade, Fran Drescher and Molly Shannon.
