As part of September’s incredible schedule, Horror Channel has announced they will be screening the brilliant and disturbing look at the Hollywood dream Starry Eyes among their roster of movies new to the channel.

The 2014 film sees Sarah Walker (Alex Essoe) working as a waitress to make ends meet, before getting her dream break. But the ambition – and dark powers of the studio – transform her into something much darker, Starry Eyes has its UK TV Premiere on September 29th.

Also screening in September are Sam Raimi’s brilliant Drag Me to Hell (2009), the outrageous New Zealand black comedy Black Sheep (2006), Eli Roth’s seminal torture porn film Hostel (2005), and Mike Mendez’s hilarious giant arachnid flick Big Ass Spider (2015), which stars Greg Grunberg (Heroes, Rogue One) and Ray Wise (Twin Peaks).

Other Network Premieres include the ventriloquist-themed Dead Silence (2007), the futuristic Johnny Mnemonic (1995), starring Keanu Reeves and based on the William Gibson story, and the fabulous home invasion shocker The Strangers (2008). Rounding out the month is John Carpenter’s much-loved genre mash-up Big Trouble in Little China (1986).
