Saturdays on Horror Channel in February are set to showcase some fantastic science fiction shockers with the Sci-Fear Season.

Kicking off the season on February 4th is the UKTV Premiere of the mind-bending The Signal (2014), in which a group of friends discovers something else when they go looking for a hacker who framed them.  It also features Laurence Fishburne as a mysterious scientist who holds them captive – is it for their own good, though?

February 11th sees the Network Premiere of Pandorum (2009), a claustrophobic tale set on a stricken spaceship that appears to be deserted when they are awoken from hypersleep. Dennis Quaid, no stranger to sci-fi films, heads up the great cast that also includes an appearance of The Walking Dead’s Norman Reedus.

More horror royalty stars in Virus (1999), screening on February 18th. Jamie Lee Curtis (Halloween) and Donald Sutherland (Don’t Look Now) are part of the crew of a tugboat caught in a typhoon who discover more than salvage on an abandoned Russian vessel.

David Cronenberg’s brilliantly twisted eXistenZ (1999) makes a welcome return to the channel on February 25th to complete the season. Jude Law, Jennifer Jason Leigh, Christopher Eccleston, and Ian Holm star in the unmissable body-horror take on video gaming.

Elsewhere on the channel are Network Premieres of recent classics Tucker and Dale vs Evil, Saw IV, The Relic, Quarantine, and the 2010 remake of And Soon the Darkness.
