March on Horror Channel promises some gory laughs to tempt spring into… well, springing.

A host of great fun-filled horror movies will be the highlight of the month as the channel launches its Laugh or Die season.
The riot begins on March 5th with the UK TV Premiere of the superb Irish monster romp Grabbers (2012). Starring Richard Coyle (from Steven Moffat’s Coupling) and Ruth Bradley, this is an hilarious old-school creature feature with plenty of blood, ooze and booze!

March 12th sees the Network Premiere of Idle Hands (1999), in which a teen finds his hand has a mind of its own – nothing unusual for kids of that age, we know, but this one is rather murderous. Buffy’s Seth Green plays one of the friends attempting to stop his friends hand before it can get hold of the girl he lusts after.

Horror legend Robert Englund stars in the ‘does what it says on the tin’ howler Zombie Strippers (2008) on March 19th, while it’s ‘zombirds’ that threaten an all-star British cast in Jake West’s Doghouse (2009) on March 26th. Danny Dyer, Noel Clarke (Doctor Who), Adele Silva and Billy Murray (Stalker/The Bill) all together – would you Adam and Eve it?

Also worth catching this week on Horror Channel is the UK TV Premiere of the excellent chiller The Canal (2014), which wowed festival audiences all over the world.
