Horror Channel has lined up a spectacular array of former FrightFest classics to celebrate the Halloween weekend this year.

Starting on Friday, October 28th, there are screenings of the much-loved enigma Donnie Darko, the Network Premiere of the glorious Frankenstein’s Army, the splatter sequel 2001 Maniacs, and the hilarious zombie-buddy movie Deadheads.

Saturday, October 29th sees Horror Channel present the UKTV Premiere of Haunter from Cube director Vincenzo Natali. This is followed by another chance to see the disturbing remake of I Spit on Your Grave, Wrong Turn 4: Bloody Beginnings, and the superb Oldboy.

Sunday, October 30th gives viewers the chance to savour the underrated F, which sees a teacher come under attack from a group of feral kids, followed by more child horror with the Network Premiere of one of the best horror films of the past twenty years – Let the Right One In. This is followed by I Spit on Your Grave 2 and The Victim.

Halloween itself – Monday, October 31st for you heathens that don’t celebrate it – kicks off with Under the Bed, before the UKTV Premiere of the hit anthology V/H/S. You can then see the witching hours through with the gore-laden Hatchet 2 and the superb Banshee Chapter.

There are also some more great terror films to look out for before Halloween, of course, with the Network Premieres this weekend (Friday 7th and Saturday 8th, respectively) of Wilderness and the harrowing Eden Lake.

Keep an eye out, too, on subsequent weekends for Frozen (not the kiddie sing-song one!), Clown (produced by Eli Roth), The Asylum, and John Carpenter’s They Live, which seems to be just as pertinent now as it was in 1988.

You can find Horror Channel on Sky 319, Virgin 149, Freesat 138, and Freeview 70.
