Saturday nights in February are going to get really hairy as Horror Channel celebrates the werewolf movie with four great lupine shockers.

Every week at 10:55pm you can catch a fantastic lycanthrope flick including several UKTV Premieres. Opening the Season of the Wolf is Joe Dante’s classic The Howling (1981), starring Dee Wallace, Christopher Stone, Patrick Macnee, and John Carradine. Late Phases (2014) screens on February 10th, the riotous Wolfcop (2014) hits on the 17th and Paul Hyett’s train-based Howl (2015) makes its TV debut on the 24th.

Elsewhere, there are channel firsts for Tales from the Crypt: Demon Knight (1995), Tales from the Crypt: Bordello of Blood (1996), John Carpenter’s atmospheric classic The Fog (1980), Parasite (1982), which boasts an early role for Demi Moore, the killer doll returns in Curse of Chucky (2013), and William Friedkin’s chilling The Guardian (1990). Also having their UKTV Premieres are the shocking Afflicted (2013) and The Monkey’s Paw (2013), an updating of the classic tale in which the moral is ‘be careful what you wish for’.  For more information, head over to the Horror Channel website. You can tune in on Sky 319, Virgin 149, Freesat 138, Freeview 70.
