This Easter weekend will be full of terrifying treats on Horror Channel as the afternoon movies will showcase some of the best from Hammer Films.

The fun starts at 3pm on Saturday, March 26th with The Curse of the Werewolf (1961) in which Oliver Reed plays the tragic fellow who becomes a beast and causes havoc in the Spanish countryside.
4.50pm sees Peter Cushing take on Baron Meinster (David Peel) in The Brides of Dracula (1960), the sequel to the landmark ’58 film.
The evocative and atmospheric The Plague of Zombies (1966) rounds out day one of the Hammer-thon at 6.35pm.

Sunday, March 27th begins once more at 3pm, this time with The Revenge of Frankenstein (1958), the sequel to Curse of Frankenstein, and one of the best of the subsequent films.
The Evil of Frankenstein (1964) continues the Baron’s run of life-creating mishaps at 4.50pm and is followed by the stunning adaptation of Dennis Wheatley’s The Devil Rides Out (1968) at 6.35pm.

There is also the usual fantastic evening programming, which includes the Network Premiere of the entertaining Doghouse (2009) at 10:55pm as part of the Laugh or Die season.
