It’s getting colder… we’ve had snow in some places… you know what that means? Christmas! And Horror Channel has lined up a feast of films to keep you warm in from of the box this Yuletide.

Heading the UK TV premieres are the gruesome but fun seasonal slasher Silent Night (2012). Starring Malcolm McDowell and Jaime King, it’s a gory remake of the classic Silent Night, Deadly Night in which a town is terrorised by a killer Santa on Christmas Eve. What more could you ask for?

How about something even more up to date like Cabin Fever 3: Patient Zero (2014)? The third in the popular series involving a flesh-eating virus makes its TV debut on December 4th.
Heroes star Milo Ventimiglia stars in home invasion thriller Static (2012), and genre icon Bill Moseley stars with Mark Gibson in the nightmarish Civil War-set horror Exit Humanity (2012).

On Boxing Day, while everyone (except vegetarians, of course) are forcing down another turkey sandwich, there’s a true masterpiece to enjoy with Steven Spielberg’s Duel (1972). Dennis Weaver plays the salesman whose cross-country trip becomes a living hell when he is relentlessly pursued by a trucker who clearly has some road-rage issues.
