No, no, it’s fine. You’re totally allowed to chuckle at this. Yes, as the title says, the latest problems to trouble Warner Brothers’ Justice League revolve around Henry Cavill’s moustache.

As per Variety, Cavill’s facial hair is causing all kinds of headaches for The WB.

If you remember, Justice League is currently in the middle of some extensive Joss Whedon-led reshoots while Zack Snyder takes a break from the film due to the tragic death of his daughter. Now, this latest problem is down to Cavill having already starting shooting Mission: Impossible 6 – a movie for which he has grown a swanky moustache. With Cavill currently bouncing between work on Justice League and M:I6 movie, Paramount Pictures – who handle the Mission: Impossible franchise – have outright said that the Superman star needs to keep his muzzy at all costs right now.

What does that mean for Justice League? Well, it means that all of the Cavill-featuring reshoots need digitally altering to remove his moustache. Which, if you ask us, sounds like a majorly painstaking process.

Where these reshoots are concerned, they’re believed to be pretty major, with the majority of the scenes character and dialogue-focussed. Already, Gal Gadot and Jason Momoa have been brought in for an additional two weeks of shooting, with other names having been pull in for four more weeks of work. Most notably, Ezra Miller has had to take some time away from the Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them production to shoot additional Flash footage.

In an ominous sign, Warner Brothers has also now added additional shooting into all of their upcoming DCEU movies after having to carry out extensive reshoots on last year’s Suicide Squad and now Justice League.

On the Cavill front, if you ask us, just do a Cesar Romero and paint over it. Simple!

At present, Justice League is set for a November 10th release.
