Manchester-based Fraggell Productions are currently crowdfunding an exciting sci-fi short, I Am Flesh, and you can get involved and make it happen!

The official synopsis is:

I Am Flesh is an oppressive and kinetic science fiction short, set mostly in a fictional off-shore cloning factory in the UK. The film follows Leika – a clone who believes that she is in the factory to be cured of a terminal illness, with only memories of her home to keep her sane. She is subjected to peculiar procedures, in which a strange regenerative liquid is harvested from her body. Her only human contact is with the guards of the factory and the voice of the malevolent AI who controls everything. It is only when she dreams of seeing herself in another body that she begins to question the motives of her ‘carers.’

With incentives at all levels, there’s a reason for everyone to get involved and help make a great short that will no doubt take the festival circuit by storm. Among the award-winning filmmakers on the team are writer/director Jack Silverwood (Back Track) and producer Louis Mooney. The money raised will help the team complete the short with the best equipment available, and ensure a first-rate production design.
