The Kickstarter campaign for the sequel to Hawk the Slayer is well underway, and there’s still time to pledge to help get the movie made and receive some fantastic perks in the process.

Hawk the Hunter already has $4.5 worth of funding, and is looking for the help of the fans to push it that little bit further. Director of the original film, Terry Marcel has plans not only for the sequel (which will be directed by Keith Claxton), but a game and television series.

Among the brilliant perks on offer are exclusive replica coins and T-shirts, on-screen credits and for the ultimate fan, very limited edition swords – with either Voltan’s or the iconic Mindsword up for grabs.

Hawk the Hunter is produced by Jason Kingsley, CEO of Rebellion, who publish 2000 AD and will be creating the Hawk game, as well as creating the CGI for the movie.

You can read our full interview with Terry here, and in the current print edition of STARBURST, on sale in shops now.
