Who doesn’t love Guillermo del Toro, right? With his fingers always in plentiful pies, we’ve now got word on another new project for the ridiculously talented GDT.

As first revealed by Collider, del Toro is teaming up with J.J. Abrams’ Bad Robot banner and Paramount Pictures for a movie called Zanbato. The loveable del Toro will be on writing and directing duties for a feature that involves ninjas.

Plot details are being kept hush-hush for now, with the original report claiming that the film will be centred on a young female ninja. Taking to social media, del Toro himself clarified that the movie is not a ninja project but that it will have ninjas in it.

Expect more on Zanbato as we get it.
