The all-day celebration of all things GERRY ANDERSON organised by GRIMM UP NORTH, THIS IS SUPERMARIONATION – which takes place at Manchester’s Gorilla – has had a date change due to unforeseen circumstances. All purchased tickets will remain valid for the new date of January 11th 2015. It’s the perfect post-Yuletide pick-me-up!

“Presented by Grimm Up North & Trof as part of the BFI’s DAYS OF FEAR AND WONDER Sci-fi season, this all day marathon is dedicated to the prolific creator’s and masters of British science fiction puppetry Gerry & Sylvia Anderson!
The THIS IS SUPERMARIONATION marathon is a very special programme featuring classic episodes of THUNDERBIRDS, STINGRAY, CAPTAIN SCARLETT, FIREBALL XL-5 and many more in painstakingly restored high definition, with the original classic adverts from ITV included all presented by Lady Penelope & Parker; plus the mancunian premiere of the new critically acclaimed documentary FILMED IN SUPERMARIONATION – which is about the iconic and world-leading puppetry and animation techniques devised by Gerry and Sylvia Anderson and their team of puppeteers in a Slough warehouse in the 1960s.
