We finally have our first look at Prime Video’s long-awaited Good Omens season 2, ahead of its July 28th premiere. Michael Sheen’s Aziraphale and David Tennant’s Crowley return for some more mayhem after helping to save the world from the Apocalypse last season – which debuted a whole four years ago!

Originally based on Terry Pratchett and Neil Gaiman’s international best-selling novel of the same name, Good Omens season 2 explores storylines that go beyond the original source material to illuminate the bizarre friendship between rare-book dealer and angel Aziraphale (Sheen) and the punky demon Crowley (Tennant). As the official synopsis continues: “Having been on Earth since The Beginning, and with the Apocalypse thwarted, the duo are getting back to easy living amongst mortals in London’s Soho. That is, until the archangel Gabriel (Jon Hamm) turns up unexpectedly at the door of Aziraphale’s bookshop with no memory of who he is or how he got there.”

Beyond Tennant, Sheen, and Hamm, season 2 will also welcome new cast members, including Liz Carr (The Witcher, Silent Witness) as a character named Saraqael, Quelin Sepulveda as Muriel, and Shelley Conn (Terra Nova) as a resident of Hell.

Good Omens season 2 releases on Prime Video from July 28th. Check out the trailer below:
