Fresh off the news that Adam Wingard has been given the nod to direct Godzilla vs. Kong, now comes some casting news for Big G’s next outing, Godzilla: King of the Monsters.

As per Variety, the sequel to Gareth Edwards’ 2014 Godzilla has added Silicon Valley’s Thomas Middleditch to its ranks. Middleditch joins a cast that’s currently made up of Millie Bobby Brown, Kyle Chandler, Vera Farmiga, O’Shea Jackson Jr., Charles Dance, Aisha Hinds, and the returning duo of Sally Hawkins and Ken Watanabe.

To be directed by Michael Dougherty, Godzilla: King of the Monsters is currently set for a May 2019 release, with the huge crossover Godzilla vs. Kong to follow in May 2020.
