In the first trailer for Glass Onion: A Knives Out Mystery, the game is once again afoot.

After recently teasing Rian Johnson’s Knives Out sequel with a first-look image at the impressive ensemble cast, Netflix has dropped its first footage of the much-anticipated follow-up.

Daniel Craig returns as Detective Benoit Blanc in all his Southern accented glory, and travels to Greece to unravel a brand-new mystery with a brand-new cast of characters.

Per the logline, if Knives Out was about the murderous ties of flesh and blood, Glass Onion makes a good case for being just as wary of one’s closest friends. When tech billionaire Miles Bron (Edward Norton) invites some of his nearest and dearest for a getaway on his private Greek island, it soon becomes clear that all is not perfect in paradise. And when someone turns up dead, well, who better than Blanc to peel back the layers of intrigue?

Glass Onion: A Knives Out Mystery‘s full cast includes Craig, Norton, Kate Hudson, Janelle Monáe, Dave Bautista, Kathryn Hahn, Leslie Odom Jr., Jessica Henwick and Madelyn Cline. Johnson is producing alongside Ram Bergman.

Glass Onion: A Knives Out Mystery is set to release globally on Netflix on December 23rd and in select cinemas at a date to be announced later. Like its predecessor, it will receive its global premiere at the BFI London Film Festival next month.
