The upcoming Jurassic World sequel has moved to bring in a new addition, and it’s one who’ll be familiar to fans of director Juan Antonio Bayona.

Bayona himself took to his Twitter page to reveal that Geraldine Chaplin has joined the film. The actress, who has worked with the director on all three of his full features to date – The Orphanage, The Impossible and A Monster Calls – was described by Bayona as his “good luck charm” as he made this news public.

Already on board for Jurassic World 2 are Chris Pratt, Bryce Dallas Howard, Toby Jones, Rafe Spall, Justice Smith, Ted Levine, Daniella Pineda, and James Cromwell.

Confirmed as the second of a trilogy that began with Colin Trevorrow’s hugely successful Jurassic World, the film is already shooting ahead of a June 22nd, 2018 release.
