Garrett Wang, Star Trek: Voyager’s Ensign Harry Kim has been announced for next year’s Sci-Fi Scarborough.

Co-organiser Steve Dickinson said: “To say we are pleased is a major understatement. Star Trek in all its incarnations is such a cultural touchstone for all fans of science fiction and the fact we have managed to get such a major actor from one of them is just really, really great news. The bar continues to be raised and we could not be happier for the event, the town and the convention attendees”

As well as being a veteran of the phenomenally successful Star Trek: Voyager, Garrett has appeared in numerous theatre, film, and television roles including the Golden Globe-nominated Into the West.

He will join a growing list of guests that already include Babylon 5’s Claudia Christian, Red Dwarf’s Norman Lovett, and Doctor Who’s Dan Starkey and Barnaby Edwards.
