So what? you say. Well despite poor sales Okami was universally praised and featured some wonderful elements, including the amazing “Celestial Brush”. The brush could be used in numerous ways by the player, for example drawing a line through an enemy would cut them, drawing a bridge in the appropriate place would create, well, a bridge. Even the elements could be controlled with brush strokes. It also happened to be one of the most visually stunning games ever released, making use of sumi-e style (ink wash) cel shading.

Which brings me to the point of this post, Capcom have just released (at TGS) the new trailer for OKAMI HD. A remake of the original, running in 1080p to really show off its stunning visuals. Here’s it is…
