The SIMCITY servers will be going offline tonight starting at 9:00pm GMT for the release of the version 2.0 update.

While the ability to play the game offline isn’t included in the patch, a host of bug fixes and new features are. For example, random disasters happen less frequently and the HUD now colour-corrects when in a colour-blind mode.

Servers will be down for “approximately two hours” while the game is undergoing maintenance.
