Club Nintendo of Europe has finally followed in the footsteps of its North American counterpart. At long last, European gamers can earn Stars for downloading eShop games via their Wii U or 3DS.

The website kindly explains what to do in order to make sure your purchases reward your Club Nintendo account, but for those who find clicking a link to be too troublesome, I’ve kindly posted the instructions below.

“If you have linked your Club Nintendo account with your system’s shop account, the software you downloaded to it will appear in your Club Nintendo account. Go to the Games & Systems section of our Club Nintendo website after logging in and click on the respective button next to the title of the downloadable game to fill out a short survey about the title. Once you’re done with that, you will be rewarded with 50 Stars.”

Make sure you’ve made an account with Club Nintendo if you haven’t already. Stars can be exchanged for lots of cool goodies, ranging from notebooks to Nintendo point cards (which mean you can buy even more eShop games…. Just to purchase more eShop games. Think of it as a sort of gaming ourboros).
