Before J.J. debuts his STAR TREK sequel next summer, his trusty writers Alex Kurtzman & Bob Orci have also been busy writing the script for Namco Bandai’s follow-up of their own. STAR TREK: THE GAME offers to fill in some of the blanks in between the two movies, and promises to be a canonical tale.

Though property tie-ins are notoriously weak when it comes to video games, we’re hoping that since Abrams’ Bad Robot outfit developed it, it’s going to live up to the promise.
