Welcome to the future guys. Not only does this latest trailer reveal that you can ride on the back of a Gogoat around Lumiose City, but for the first time in Pokemon history, you can actually walk… DIAGONALLY!!!

Or so it would appear anyway. The new trailer also features cars on the streets, a wealth of footage showing off the new 3D battle animations and a little glimpse into the newest Paris-inspired city location. Just try and watch it without being swept up in that theme…

Pokemon X and Y is currently scheduled for the 3DS in October 2013.
